The APC-4 eliminated the need for a more expensive lifter, and by using the non-amplified headset port, echo and feedback were eliminated as well.

We did not know this existed! We were told that the only thing that could be done to answer the phone away from our desks was the lift. A client came into the office and told us about the hook switch! It is wonderful. The only thing is that it takes an extra second to answer, but after you get used to that you are golden!
